Grief, Depression, and Anxiety Counseling

As a matter of policy, we list only non-profit, governmental, or similar organizations on this site. Hosparus and numerous funeral homes offer bereavement support groups, but groups applicable to the grief of divorce and related issues are few and far between. Googling "grief counseling louisville ky" will bring up a multitude of therapists who can help you work through grief due to divorce. Here are the groups we know about; suggestions are welcome.

Southeast Christian Church
502-253-8400
Southeast lists a Grief Support group as one of its Encounter ministries. It is specifically designed for those mourning a loss through death, but the Overcoming Adversity group, which "strives to provide support, encouragement, acceptance, and hope to individuals who are going through difficult life issues," can accommodate pretty much anything you might be going through, including grief resulting from divorce. You may expect a faith-based component in most of Southeast's offerings.
